No one wants to go through a divorce. It is a frightening and daunting task. Greenberg & Sinkovits were just the attorneys to guide me through it. They explained the legal terms thoroughly, helped me weigh pros and cons of every decision. They quickly drafted and filed all documents and provided client copies immediately. Greenberg & Sinkovits represented me from January 2011 to December 2012 in what proved to be an incredibly difficult divorce. After 8 months in court and naught to show for it, I decided to drop my lawyer and contact Stephanie. In one court date, I no longer had to endure supervised visits, I was no longer under constant scrutiny, and I was no longer being bullied. Welp, I certainly never expected to be writing a five-star ​Google review about my divorce, but here we are​! After nearly three years from filing to final judgment​ (including a five-day tria​l) I can confidently say that hiring Stephanie Greenberg and her team was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire process. My divorce was incredibly complex. It involved serious parenting concerns, a closely held business requiring extensive valuation work, complicated financial issues, hidden accounts and assets that had to be uncovered and traced, significant dissipation, and seemingly endless motions, discovery, experts, and court appearances. Through all of it, Stephanie was exceptional. What impressed me most was her ability to handle every side of a complicated family-law case. She was incredibly thoughtful, non-judgmental, and understanding when it came to my children and parenting concerns, while also being just as sharp when the case turned to financial statements, business valuations, expert testimony, dissipation, and following the money. She knew when to push, when to be strategic, and when something simply didn’t add up. Just as importantly, Stephanie knew when ​not to fight. There were absolutely times when I wanted immediate court intervention​ and she was willing to push back on me when she believed it wouldn’t meet the court’s threshold for an emergency, wouldn’t be well received by the judge, or simply wouldn’t meaningfully advance the case.
